Joe Behen (Grace & Holy Trinity Cathedral, Kansas City); Outstanding Adult Volunteer Award – Pat Rudy (St. Paul’s, Kansas City); Lifetime Contribution Award – Curtis Hamilton (Grace & Holy Trinity Cathedral, Kansas City); Outstanding New Youth Leader Award – Donya Newport (Christ Church, Springfield); Step-Up-to-the-Plate Award – Debbie Hertzberg (Grace Church, Carthage); Outstanding Youth Action Council Member Award – Anna Rudy (St. Paul’s, Kansas City) and Outstanding Youth Awards – Kennedy Graves (Christ Church, Springfield) and Kelly Phelan (St. Paul’s, Kansas City).
A new ministry at St. Luke’s Hospital
St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City is seeking volunteers to provide non-clinical bedside comfort to those patients at the hospital who would otherwise be alone at the end of life. Volunteers do not need a clinical background or experience.
